About me

I am a neuroscientist interested in the distributed coding of cognitive tasks. I work as a senior research associate on the distributed coding of spatial navigation in the shared lab of Professors Matteo Carandini and Kenneth Harris at University College London. I also developed UnitMatch, software to track individual neurons across longitudinal recordings with high-density probes, such as Neuropixels.

During my PhD-training at the Netherlands Institute for Neuroscience with Professor Roelfsema, Professor Willuhn, and Dr. Self, I studied the distributed coding of visual perception and (delayed) decision-making.

I aspire to head a research group studying the unique and shared mechanisms of different cognitive tasks using behavioral, experimental, and computational neuroscience techniques.
